IFS Certificate:

IREKS fulfils the criteria of the Higher Level of the IFS, Version 5, to offer the best support to our customers as a partner of the food trade.

The International Food Standard, IFS for short, was defined in 2002 and 2003 by representatives of the German and French food trade. It originates from the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) which was founded in the year 2000 to improve food safety.

The International Food Standard – nowadays called the International Featured Standard Food – is directed at all those producing companies within the food sector which manufacture their own branded food products for the food trade. It constitutes a quality management and risk management system specifically for food products.

To be able to offer the best support possible for our customers as a partner for the food trade in this sector as well, IREKS is certified according to the IFS. IREKS fulfils the criteria of the Higher Level of the IFS, Version 5.

The certification makes clear that IREKS is constantly committed to the highest possible product quality and food safety.
