  | | | Tasting variety: Manioc
| | The manioc plant, originating in present-day Brazil, has root tubers which are very rich in starch. Various products are made from these root tubers, e.g. flour or starch. To extract the starch, the roots are washed, peeled, ground, sieved, soaked and the starch separated and dried. In this way, white starch is obtained, also called tapioca, which is used in different South American baked goods. Tapioca is an important ingredient of our mix PÃO DE QUEIJO, from which cheese snack baked goods can be made. Recipe Pão de queijo
